Spectacular ruins of a country house. This vast mansion on the Victorian Italian style incorporates porticoes by John Nash and church nearby, not English Heritage, with 18thC baroque interior and gardens. The magnificent gardens, by William Nesfield, are his 'Monster Work'. Grounds recently re-designed and contain statues from Jerwood Sculpture Park. Grounds contain immense stone fountains, including one representing Perseus and Andromeda.
